Penerapan Metode Profile Matching Dalam Menentukan Calon Karyawan Terbaik



Abstract— The employee recruitment process at PT Alva
Karya Perkasa still uses conventional methods which are
considered ineffective in finding the best candidates for a
required position. For this reason, a decision support is
needed which is expected to provide additional assessment
and efficiency of the employee recruitment process. The
Profile Matching method is a competency assessment process
that is carried out by comparing the administrative,
psychological and interview scores between one applicant and
another. PT. Alva Karya Perkasa regulates the percentage for
calculating the weight, including 10% administration, 30%
psychological test, 30% interviews and 30% user interviews.
The final result of the total calculation is to determine the
rank of each applicant based on the greater score. The greater
the value the applicant obtains, the greater the chance for the
applicant to occupy the position. The employee recruitment
information system using the profile matching method can
help the employee selection process and recruitment decisions
quickly.
