Abstract— One of the duties and obligations of a lecturer is to
conduct research and serve the community. The P3KM Unit of
the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic is a unit
tasked with managing and collecting data related to research and
community service that has been carried out by lecturers.
Management of research data and community service from the
proposal stage to reporting still uses conventional methods so
that it is not effective and efficient in terms of time and cost.
Therefore we need a research management information system
and community service to facilitate the management and control
of progress reports from progress and final reports. In designing
information systems using the UML (Unified Modeling
Language) method and testing information systems using the
Black Box Testing method so that the expected functions can run
in accordance with the system design that has been built. The
results of the test can be concluded that all functions can run
properly and according to user needs. Features on the system
other than research management and community service, namely
P3KM Admin and lecturers can add data consisting of journal
article data, intellectual property rights, proceeding articles and
books as well as research and community service graphs that can
be used for analysis at P3KM
