Model Perbandingan Metode Prediksi Jumlah Penjualan Produk Aplikasi HRIS Dengan Algoritma Forecasting Time Series Perusahaan SaaS
Abstract— Technological developments are very useful in
solving problems in a company. The business world is growing and
developing more rapidly, resulting in increasingly fierce
competition in the business world. Companies must be able to
analyze and predict various possibilities that will occur in the
future. A SaaS company is a cloud-based HRIS Application service
company for services to b2b (business to business) customers to
enterprises. An important problem for SaaS companies in
improving the sales strategy of HRIS applications is the absence of
forecasting the number of sales each month. In this study, sales
forecasting for SaaS Company HRIS products will be carried out
by comparing the exponential smoothing, moving average, and
ARIMA forecasting methods. From the comparison process of the
three methods for the SaaS (Software As a Service) Company's
HRIS (Human Resource Information System) product with the
Exponential Smoothing Method, the MSE test results are 1411606,
RMSE is 11.881100, MAPE is 7.756206%, on the Moving Average
method the MSE test results are 14370113, RMSE is 37.90793 ,
MAPE is 20.41778%, ARIMA method is MSE test results are
502221.4, RMSE is 7.086758, MAPE is 4.507644%. Based on the
results of data analysis, it is known that the forecasting method
using ARIMA is very suitable for forecasting sales of HRIS
products in SaaS companies because it has the lowest error rate
value when compared to other methods.
